Developmental Disabilities and Darius Rucker at the Academy of Country Music Awards
In an earlier D Card post, I talked about Lady Gaga’s performance of her D-friendly single “Born This Way” at the Grammys. Darius Rucker did more than just sing about it, he involved the disabled community directly by co-writing his new song “Music From The Heart” with a group of kids from the Lifting Lives Music Camp last summer. Then, he performed the tune with 25 of those kids this past Sunday night on the Academy of Country Music Awards.
